We designed a new digital healthcare ecosystem and mobile solution that streamlines patient journeys, enables proactive care, and improves information sharing between caregivers and doctors.

Strategy

How can we unite a fragmented healthcare experience? Through two interactive workshops, we identified key obstacles in the patient care journey: complex patient journeys, lack of proactive health management, and disconnected information sharing between doctors. Our team outlined how a new product strategy and mobile solution could help solve these obstacles.

Design

Guided by insights and the Do No Harm framework, we developed a product strategy and design that streamlines the healthcare journey. Our solution was pitched through a narrative video and conceptual product designs, showcasing a unified, improved experience.

Results

Due to NDA restrictions, the video can’t be shown. However, the narrative demonstrated how a unified digital ecosystem tracks patient health, alerts caregivers, advises on next steps, and provides doctors with necessary information. This strategy and prototypes enables the app to:

• Improve the understanding of insurance benefits
• Empower proactive health management
• Enhance communication and information sharing amongst care teams
• Improve the overall navigation of the healthcare journey

Client Workshops

In collaboration with the client, we mapped the current user journey, defined key personas, explored new feature ideas, and outlined a Future State Digital and Vertical Ecosystem.

Product Design & Prototype

Collaborating with service designers, we rapidly prototyped a flagship app that could activate this new digital/vertical ecosystem and product strategy.
